As I was relaxing in my perfect bubble bath (bath salts, essential oils, and The honest company’s bubbles) I noticed that I never really knew what the perfect Bubble Bath Movie was… and if you’re anything like me, you love to watch something while relaxing after a long weekend or day. So, since I clearly have a much larger amount of time on my hands these days, here are my top 5 movies to stream while relaxing in a luxurious bath!
1. The Holiday
There is something about this movie that speaks to my soul. I don’t know if it’s the way Cameron Diaz slays breaking up with her boyfriend, or her flawless outfits throughout the entire thing. Anyways, this movie is one of my all time favorites - even if it’s holiday themed, I watch year round. NO SHAME. Mind you, Kate Winslet’s character is probably the most relatable character in a movie, ever. just saying.
2. 10 Things I Hate About You
DUDES AND LADIES. This is like the movie of a generation. Our beloved Heath Ledger serenades Julia Stiles. NEED I SAY MORE. If you haven’t seen this, you need to. It’s the perfect amount of comedy with a hint of romance, but not the kind that makes you want to vom.
3. Breakfast at Tiffany’s
This is one of the most iconic films ever made, and in its own right, it might be one of the best films ever made. Audrey Hepburn’s voice is like a lullaby and the holly is every 20-something woman out there. ( #relatable ) It’s probably one of the best to watch when you’re feeling classy AF and you have a glass or bottle of wine nearby.
4. How to Marry a Millionaire
This is one of the most surprisingly fabulous films I have ever watched. I love old films, but this one had my undivided attention, and made me giggle! Marilyn Monroe, Betty Grable, and Lauren Becall all star in this rom-com. I would recommend it for any bath time. Whether you’re hurt, or on top of the moon. Watch it, and love it!
5. You’ve Got Mail
If you don’t know, now you know. This is an all time classic, YET AGAIN, that will sweep you off your feet. It’s a perfect movie for the dating scene today. it’s like a movie about online dating, but before tinder or bumble. I have loved this movie since I was a little girl, and will always recommend it!
BONUS: Stick It
This is one of the most underrated films. ever. Pay close attention when they show the zodiac signs of one of the characters because it reads: “Zodiac Sign: Bitch,” and it gave me life.
